Pinterest is one of the fastest growing online ad platforms and our success depends on mining rich user interest and intent data to connect Pinners with the most relevant advertisers. The Ads Audience Modeling team creates signals for the targeting, retrieval and ranking models. 

What you’ll do:

• Conduct comprehensive exploratory data analysis to gain insights into the data and identify potential features of high performance
• Develop and implement feature engineering strategies and pipelines to preprocess and transform raw data into feature representation, such as embedding, that are suitable for ads machine learning models 
• Apply feature engineering best practices, including scaling, normalizing, encoding and handling missing values to ensure signals quality and reliability

What we’re looking for:

• MS or Ph.D degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
• Background in computational advertising
• Strong industry experience in machine learning
• Cross-functional collaborator and strong communicator
