This position is responsible for managing and coordinating the budgetary aspects of one or more project(s) and serves as the liaison between project management and the project team, planning, and line management for sharing information and resolving basic problems. Continually reviews status of the project(s) and budgets to ensure project(s) are completed on time and within budget. Assesses project issues and develops solutions to meet production, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with development of AFE and forecast memos to ensure project schedule and budget goals are attained.
  • Manage and monitor project schedule, timelines, and milestones from initiation to delivery to meet delivery goals.
  • Submit and track funding documents for department ensuring budget is managed accurately and with ease of access
  • Coordinate departmental and/or cross-functional teams to assign and prioritize tasks focused on delivering budgetary guidance for new or upgrading existing products and/or services.
  • Assign and monitor work of project management staff, providing technical support and direction when necessary.
  • Administer and execute policies, processes, and procedures that impact the assigned project.
  • Manage data so that any quick turn reports are available without research.
  • Collaborate across management and project team to collect data to ensure AFE and forecast memos are accurate.
  • Identify and assess project issues and develop recommendations for solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
  • Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices. Additional Functions: Other duties as assigned or required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's or master's degree in data science, applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related technical/quantitative discipline from an accredited institution. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • Must have a general understanding of data science concepts, principles, and theory with technical experience, demonstrating the application of those concepts.
  • Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment and organize work assignments to meet established timetables.
  • The ability to exercise independent judgment in solving issues of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Good organizational, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report and present findings
  • Good interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all levels of employees including management and outside representatives
  • Good computer skills.
  • The ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential.

SALARY:$62,510 - $105,628
