We have an exciting opportunity for an AI Product Integration engineer to support our Autonomy and AI Solutions Software Group in Poway, CA. The Autonomy and AI Solutions Software group is chartered to develop next generation Command and Control Systems and AI and Autonomy solutions for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) Systems on the ground and autonomous flight.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • AI product testing encompassing developing test plans, running testing from lab to live planes, interfacing with customers, and generally being responsible for testing the overall system plus AI related SW as needed communicating issues to developers.
  • Work with stakeholders through the life cycle creating test plans, test cases, and test execution of software features.
  • Develop concise reports or issues and track them from creation to closing.
  • Work with flight test team to verify the SW is safe to fly on an aircraft and ensure successful flight events.
  • Development of test automation systems.
  • Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
  • Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Typically requires a bachelors or masters degree in computer science, information systems or related discipline and two or more years progressive software development experience with a bachelors degree. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required enabling an effective interface with other departments and/or professionals.
  • Must be customer focused, formulates test plans in an agile environment.
  • Must have ability to understand new concepts quickly and test them accurately throughout an evolving environment.
  • Must have ability to understand systems from application level to deployment details.
  • Must have experience with Jama and issue tracking systems such as Jira or Gitlab.
  • Must have experience developing automated tests and executing them using tools such as Unittest, Pytest, Nose, Cucumber, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with operating systems RHEL, CentOS, and Windows.
  • Nice to Haves/Preferred
    • Broad technical expertise in integrating and verifying software distributed systems.
    • Experience in testing Object-Oriented Design, Distributed Systems, and Service-Oriented Architectures.
    • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab.
    • Familiarity with coding in one or more of programming languages Java, Java Script, C/C++, C#, Python, HTML5, and .NET.
    • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as Docker and Virtual Machines.
    • Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
    • Familiarity with middleware Redis, RabbitMQ, DDS.
    • Familiarity with RTOS concepts and embedded Linux.
    • Familiarity with SysML and git
    • Familiarity with networking.
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Able to work extended hours as required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance is required
