Our 2023 Summer Internship program is a wonderful opportunity for rising 2024 graduates to immerse themselves in an innovative and mission driven culture. Our 10 week paid internship program will provide you with hands on mentorship, an opportunity to add real contribution to our company via your internship project, and a possible job offer at the end. We are seeking an intern this summer to join our small segment Electrical Engineering team. This is an exciting and innovative opportunity to gain experience and insight into an emerging technology space!

What you'll do:

• Work on real projects with hardware going to customers.
• Meaningful and interesting work with a direct mentor to guide you.
• Have a great learning experience with a humble, inspiring team
• Support circuit board designs for Shield AI’s autonomous quadcopter product line
• Opportunity to work in various electrical disciplines such as cameras, analog, digital, RF, power, and compute
• Execute design through analysis, simulation, schematic capture, layout, and hardware verification
• Complete product testing and verification. Identify problems and implement fixes

Required qualifications:

• Must be a rising Senior, rising Master’s or PhD graduate, preparing to graduate Spring 2024
• Pursuing a degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals (capacitors, inductors, FETs, diodes, etc.)
• Great written and verbal communication
• A demonstrated history of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others
• Have a passion for solving tough problems on a fast paced team

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience outside of the classroom such as an internship, research project, personal projects, etc.
• Have worked on a schematic, board layout, component selection, or circuit debugging
• Experience with Altium or an equivalent tool

Salary Range: $40-50/hr plus housing stipend for 10 week program.
