As a Robotic Integration Engineer, you will be working across the engineering organization to design and facilitate the integration and testing of a broad spectrum of algorithms across a range of platforms.

What You Will Do:

• Develop, mature, and test software for autonomous systems
• Integrate autonomy software on hardware and simulated platforms
• Work with functional teams to ensure interfaces are implemented and meeting specifications
• Seek out system gaps and implement solutions to fill them. 
• Contribute to the documentation of the systems
• Create integration tests within our testing frameworks
• Resolve challenges and optimize software architecture at all levels of the stack from kernel to third party and internal libraries

Projects you might work on:

• Create an integration test plan for the addition of a new sensor to a platform 
• Facilitate the use of our software stack on a new prototype platform 
• Leverage your knowledge of our software and platforms to work on an R&D effort proving out future capabilities

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional work experience as a software engineer 
• 2+ years of experience with robotics or autonomous systems
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree 
• Experience in ROS or related robotics frameworks
• Experience with integration of software and hardware 
• Strong software skills in C++ and python
• You have a demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others
• Demonstrated ability to quickly and effectively debug software that you are not familiar with 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with integration of robotic software on hardware platforms
• Experience with hardware development process
• Familiarity with test design and metrics
