As a Senior Data Science Manager, you will form the strategy of our recommendations domain consisting of several squads. The teams are focused on constantly improving the customer experience in our app through recommendations such as recommended restaurants, products you may like, similar products, and others. This role is a great fit, if you have strong and proven experience in applying ML models to solve business problems.

Also, if you are a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of data science concepts, and have the ability to get clarity on ambiguous business problems. You're a Data Science leader with a proven experience of leading a multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists and Engineers to build scalable data solutions.

Your mission:

• Lead and empower experienced teams of data scientists and machine learning engineers, focused on building innovative customer-facing solutions
• Support and mentor data science and engineering managers to grow and be more effective leaders whilst applying our People Leader Principles
• Develop and continuously improve data science systems and pipelines in our global cloud platform
• Collaborate closely with global business teams and align solutions across worldwide markets with business and product stakeholders
• Design and implement cutting-edge insights and customer-facing services
• Work with structured and semi-structured data from different data sources (BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and many more).
• Improve developer productivity and collaboration within your engineering squads and with your Data Science stakeholders.
• Ensure continued service reliability and 24/7 provide technical support for global services

Your heroic skills:

• Several years of hands-on technical leadership and at least 2 years of experience in managing managers
• A strong data science and/or engineering background and are able to evaluate complex technical decisions.
• Previous experience in building data science and machine Learning applications at scale
• Excellent knowledge and Hands-on modelling experience in data science and machine learning
• A completed technical degree in Computer Science or any related fields.
• You have experience applying methods from machine learning and statistics to real-world datasets.
