Job Description

This Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for developing a roadmap for the business unit reporting strategy and providing business insights through in-depth and thorough data gathering, scrubbing transformation and analysis. The role assists in developing standardized reports, dashboards, and self-service access to critical information for individuals about the business unit Program. Key Accountabilities:

• Be partnered with users, product owners & data engineers to design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions (dashboard & interactive reporting tools on crucial business measures)
• Work directly with business stakeholders and translate business data needs into technical requirements, design, and implementation thru data visualization.
• Develop, Test, and Maintain BI Dashboard to high quality and performance standards using the company-approved BI Tools. (e.g. Power BI, Qlikview, QlikSense, Tableau)
• To utilize UI/UX best practices to craft visualizations that create a single, aligned version of the truth, present clear information about business results & call for action.
• Responsible for collaborating with the team and assisting in setting up and implementing best practices to ensure the quality and consistency of the solutions.
• Flexible in working with medium to high complexity projects with the possibility of utilizing multiple BI tools for each solution.
• To provide and maintain user access, report connections, and troubleshoot by navigating to the management consoles or workspaces.

Skills Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or relevant experience with Business Intelligence.
• At least 5+ years of hands-on experience developing BI solutions, preferably with Power BI.
• Proven experience with customer management and project administration.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to allocate time efficiently and handle multiple demands and competing priorities.
• Planning and organization skills, including the ability to prepare schedules and communicate the status of the overall development effort.
• Ability to work independently and act professionally at all times.
• Adaptable to teamwork and dynamic work environment.

Technical Skills:

• Experienced with BI technologies (e.g., Qlikview, QlikSense, Tableau, Power BI)
• Pertinent Experience in Data Modelling and Data Model normalization
• Solid Understanding of the ETL methodology.
• Strong knowledge/proficiency in relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle) and business intelligence.
• Understanding of design and development tools, SDLC methodologies and techniques, preferred
• Curiosity and analytical mindset – ability to ask the right questions and propose solutions. With solid evidence of being able to transform data into actionable insights.
• Experience in working in agile (SCRUM) is an advantage.
• Project management experience preferred
• Adept data storytelling and visualization – proficiency in creating solutions that align not only with the business requirements but also the company’s branding.

• Intermediate MS Excel
• Familiarity with NPrinting or MS Reports Builder
• Basic to Intermediate Expertise in the following relational databases:
• MS SQL
• MS Access
• Enterprise Data Lake
• Familiarity with MS Power Applications
