Job Description

Accountabilities:

• Provides analysis on datasets of high complexity to identify outliers, anomalies, patterns, or other compliance indicators that may be hidden in the data and communicates results of analysis to senior audit management, analytics lead and business partners.
• Trains and supports audit teams in the analysis of captured data as well as technical training to to more junior analysts in the DA team and auditors across all levels
• Acts as a Consultant by owning and delivering the analytical project planning for 1 - 2 audits at a time, performing analysis and guiding more junior analysts so that the project is completed successfully and on time.
• Identifies and works towards acquiring access to data that supports audit and automation initiatives
• Works with Auditors to Identify opportunities for automation and provides analyses to support the initiatives – automates control testing, works on projects that deliver Continuous Auditing and Monitoring
• Actively contributes to cross functional audit projects to develop analytics enabled solutions on data appropriateness for quality and accuracy, data validation, consolidation and cleansing processes.
• Works on problems of high complexity, following standard practices and data analytics procedures to evaluate controls and business objectives
• Develops and maintains strong internal network at all levels of the organization, relationships with other Analytics counterparts within the organization
• Speaker and active participant at external events and conferences
• Contributes to the development of Audit Services DA policies, strategy and direction; continually improve audit and supporting processes leveraging technology to the fullest

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical (computer science, statistics, math, etc.) or generally an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
• Advanced knowledge and at least 5 years of experience in data analytics, data wrangling, programming, data visualization
• Advanced demonstrated knowledge of SQL, Python (or R, SAS), VBA, MS Excel, connecting to various databases
• Demonstrated experience in building dashboards/solutions using visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and using Python/R visualization libraries
• Experience working on various data platforms, with structured and unstructured data
• Applied knowledge of statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, cluster, decision trees, Natural Language Processing)
• Expertise in helping define business problems or objectives and successfully designing and executing analytics solutions
• Experience in leading/influencing without authority, project and timelines management
• Experience in influencing stakeholders, leading, motivating and mentoring peers
• Deep knowledge of using data analytics for auditing purposes is preferred.
