We are looking for a Senior Audit Data Analyst to join our ambitious CAD team.

The Corporate Audit Department (“CAD”) is an integral part of Colgate-Palmolive’s Internal Governance organization. The mission is to enhance and protect Colgate-Palmolive's values by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight to the management of the company. The principal objective is to ensure enterprise-level risks are identified and successfully led by supervising the risk environment across Colgate-Palmolive and providing insights to enable effective risk management. Works closely with teams and leadership to achieve a strong control environment. The Senior Audit Data Analyst will play a key role in ensuring CAD delivers on its mission and the Corporate Audit team successfully meets its objective.

Responsibilities:

As a Sr. Audit Data Analyst, you must demonstrate good communication, planning, administrative, technical, and process management skills, as well as the ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships and coordination with global audit team members.

  • You will participate in audits and department projects, as necessary, including traveling up to 15~30% internationally.
  • Responsible for leading audit analytics and data visualization efforts using creative and innovative solutions to provide insights and analysis throughout the audit process.
  • Demonstrate advanced technology and leading practices specific to audit analytics and data visualization to drive strategic benefits in the areas of audit quality, efficiency and value.
  • Lead the overall design and implementation of the audit analytics program as well as contribute to engagement planning to ensure that deliverables meet the audit team’s objectives.
  • Collaborate with the audit engagement teams and other multi-functional teams to gather business requirements, prioritize, recommend and develop analytics to cater to specific business and audit needs.
  • Work with large data sets, understand common data quality issues / cleansing techniques, and work with data to discover trends, patterns.
  • Understand and work with sophisticated statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and accurate usage, etc.) and statistical tools
  • Present insights in an easy to interpret way to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain constructive relationships with audit engagement teams, supporting the audits in risk assessment, substantive procedures, and tests of effectiveness, by identifying key data and creating analytical visuals.
  • You are a problem solver, with analytic thinking and ability to apply root cause analysis. You’ll need to think strategically and use technology to deliver analytical insights and have a willingness to experiment and try new techniques.
  • It’s important to understand business trends and needs and be eager to learn new technologies on data analytics.

We are looking for:

  • Degree in B. Tech (Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields), MBA in Analytics / Data Science preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant analytics experience required
  • Excellent communication & Social skills
  • An inquisitive mind, with an appetite for discovery
  • Ethical conduct, integrity and objectivity in all circumstances
  • Strict consistency to the Company’s Code of Conduct and values
  • Understanding of data mining and programming languages such as R, R Shiny, Python, SQL, required
  • Knowledge of Visualization tools (Tableau, Google Data Studio) and techniques, required
  • An analytical and broad business perspective on issues, ability to delve into detail
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and usage, etc.) and experience with related applications
  • Willingness and possibility to travel up to 30% of the time, the majority being international travel
  • Has past experience in operational, financial or compliance auditing in a multi-national, manufacturing company. Understanding of broad accounting/auditing concepts, business processes
  • Experience in Information Systems Auditing, Controls Testing, or Statistical Analysis/Modeling preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP & Google products (Big Query, Coda, Colab) preferred.
