The Data Science Product Manager leads the development and deployment of analytics projects for the global marketing and sales organization. The role will require strong eye for business and hands-on experience with computer coding and statistics to help answer business questions. A mix of technical and interpersonal skills will be needed to effectively manage analytics projects that impact business decisions.

NOTE: This job is remote and can sit anywhere within the US.

What you will do:

  • Serve as analytics translator to business decision makers
  • Define business problems that analytics can help solve
  • Lead the deployment of analytics projects
  • Deep, hands-on development of custom data models and algorithms to address business challenges using SQL, Python or R
  • Assess project feasibility and business impact to prioritize projects
  • Communicate technical concepts & information to a non technical audience in a clear & compelling manner
  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and supervise outcomes
  • Evaluate external partners across different dimensions for analytics initiatives
  • Partner with IT to align on data architecture, tools and technologies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, statistics, computer science, business or related field
  • At least 5 years in applied data analytics and computer programming
  • At least 2 years of professional experience leading teams
  • Proficiency with SQL
  • Proficiency with Python or R for data manipulation; experience with data modeling techniques
  • Experience with Data Visualization tools like Google Data Studio and Tableau
  • Experience with customer analytics
  • Experience with cloud environments (Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform) and SAP
  • Understanding of data architecture and data engineering

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in quantitative field
