Flatiron UK is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Engineer to join our small startup team in London. We are in need of a technologist who is passionate about data and the potential for real-world evidence to accelerate cancer research and improve the lives of cancer patients around the world.

Flatiron Health is a healthcare data and technology company that is building a connected platform enabling the development of actionable insights in cancer research. Our mission is to improve lives by learning from the experience of every cancer patient. We do this by helping cancer care providers and researchers gain access to high quality data about cancer treatments and outcomes in the real world.
We established our first international office in 2020 (in London) and are building a founding team here focused on transforming the use of healthcare data and improving outcomes for all cancer patients in the UK. What You'll Do
Learning from the experience of every cancer patient involves exploring many available data sources, and building robust data pipelines and systems that scale, while maintaining a laser focus on data protection and security. We welcome full-stack engineers, aspiring architects, passionate backend engineers, data scientists, engineers that are enthusiastic about data, and emerging engineering leaders. As an engineer you will:
Who You Are
You're an experienced software/data engineer with 5+ years of experience developing robust and scalable solutions. You're passionate about solving real-world problems with modern technologies and building elegant, scalable systems. You write simple, sophisticated, well-structured and well tested code that drives new features and improvements.
You're excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves and using technology to tackle meaningful problems each and every day. You're a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who seeks and gives honest feedback and values the opportunity to improve the lives of cancer patients.
