Job Description

We are looking for a highly-motivated and highly-skilled data scientist who can take ownership of the development and deployment of analytics solutions on the intersection of demand forecasting and inventory planning to help transform areas in service parts inventory management. You will work closely with business stakeholders and other product team members to help our Client' Customer Service and drive profitable growth and to maintain and increase customer satisfaction. You will acquire deep understanding of business opportunities in building data analytics solutions for demand forecasting.

Primary responsibilities will include

• working collaboratively with cross-functional teams while independently performing tasks as needed
• identifying data sources and performing data analysis as needed
• actively engaging stakeholders and gaining insights to realize business value of the analytics solutions; iv) developing and deploying models to integrate into business processes and other products.

Basics:

• Hands on experience and proven domain knowledge in the area of Inventory Management or related
• 2+ years experience in developing forecasting models in Python from traditional time-series methods such as ARIMA and its variants to machine learning based ones, feature engineering, time series clustering
• OR developing models to recommend optimal solutions for complex systems such as supply chain networks, inventory plans, etc.
• 2+ years experience in building/deploying analytics models in Python with tools such as Flask, Kubernets, AWS, GCP 
• Proven records of learning new problems, identifying necessary data to solve the problems, and to build analytics solutions to support the use case
• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year of experience in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, Operations Research or a related field
