Job Description

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will work closely with your very experienced team to meet challenges and solve problems that arise from bringing to life our data analytics and AI platform focusing on offering best in class solutions related to machine learning operations. You will be working on different backends of the platform and take responsibility together with your team for those. In this team we share our ideas, discuss then select the best one and deliver it together. Basics:

• Master's degree or equivalent business experience in Computer Science or a related area
• Reliable knowledge and experience in Java
• You have a constant drive to improve and learn new concepts, tools, and technologies
• You are ready to take responsibility for developed software - from implementation to deployment
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred:

• Very good knowledge and experience in Spring offerings (Boot, Security, Data, etc.)
• Experience with (async) messaging and distributed services architecture
• Experience with gradle, CI/CD, Jenkinsfile, git, docker, kubectl
• You are familiar with the principles of developing fault tolerant, reliable and durable software
• Knowledge about key concepts of machine learning and data science
• Familiarity with integrating with reactive frontends

Nice to Have:

• Experience with MLFlow or its competitors
• Additional experience with React, TypeScript
