Job Summary:
As a Demand Planning Expert at CPS, you will play a critical role in managing the short, medium, and long-term demand plans for several CPS plants. Your responsibilities emphasize close collaboration with Plant teams, particularly focusing on Planning & Logistics and Finance, as well as other Supply Chain Services functions, including Customer Management, Portfolio Management, and Material Management. Extensive collaboration with Bottlers, Operating Units, and Platform Services is essential.
This role leverages in-depth demand analytics and tool expertise to continuously improve the quality and accuracy of collaborative demand plans while ensuring an integrated and robust demand planning process is in place.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Strategic Demand Plans:
Collect information from Operating Units (OU’s) to build detailed concentrate sales demand plans (Rolling Estimate, Rolling submissions, Business Planning). Support business decision-making in collaboration with CPS Plant Leadership teams through ongoing activities like S&OP, Rolling Estimate, Business Planning, and Business Continuity Planning.
Governance on delivering BP to support business decisions.
Provide thorough analysis of demand plans, leveraging data segmentation to understand demand drivers, risks, and opportunities. Issue well-founded recommendations to Supply Chain Shared Services (SC SS) and Plant Leadership Teams (LT’s).
Lead Franchise Demand reviews for NextGen S&OP.
Routines and Support:
Establish and participate in routines with Customer Service teams, Bottlers, and OU key stakeholders to collaboratively refine demand plans for short and long-term horizons. This includes identifying demand issues and improving the quality of the demand signal to CPS, creating realistic consensus forecasts based on market and concentrate forecasts, inventory projections, and OU strategies.
Data Accuracy and Consistency:
Ensure system data accuracy through validation of weekly/monthly demand plans in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and master data maintenance.
Utilize end-to-end data in demand analytics such as bottler & OU forecasts, machine learning models, and market forecasts to drive system consensus on concentrate demand.
Ensure data consistency to build trust among supply, finance, and procurement teams.
Accelerate data visibility across supply chain teams and external partners through advanced reporting solutions and streamlining communication channels.
Present demand highlights and assumptions in an impactful manner to supply chain stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
Facilitate consensus on short, medium, and long-term demand plans by leveraging the S&OP process.
Continuously reassess and implement process improvement and automation opportunities to enhance efficiencies.
Actively participate in the implementation of new tools and processes such as IBP, Order and Replenishment Integration (ORI), Zombies, Product Rationalization, and others.
Report demand KPIs and establish root cause analysis and improvement actions in the demand field, positively impacting downstream processes and CPS global KPIs, Forecast accuracy, Inventory losses/shortages.
Seamless Execution:
Ensure the execution of internal and external demand planning processes in coordination with CPS plants and Operating Units.
Participate in the management and delivery of ongoing detailed demand requirements, enabling effective planning for immediate and long-term demand.
