Job Description

The Cloud + AI Specialist team delivers one scalable strategy with local execution for data center customer transformation and growth. We are the worldwide go-to-market compute and data center networking engine bringing together market transitions and empowering sellers to fuel growth for customers and Cisco. Alongside our colleagues, Cloud & AI Infrastructure builds the sales strategy, activates sellers and technical communities, and accelerates selling.

Who You Are:

You'll have the ability to own the team that will develop and execute a solution lead business outcome strategy to achieve sales targets for AI products and services. Develop relationships with key decision-makers. You will need to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Minimum requirements

• 5+ years directly running a technology pre-sales engineering organization and leading cross-functional teams
• 10+ years in technology pre-sales engineering, preferably with a focus on AI, machine learning, data center + compute architectures or related fields.
• Validated knowledge of AI technology, including machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.

Preferred requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business value for clients.
• Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and needs related to AI.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, product development, channel and solutions partners and customer success, to align sales strategies
