What You'll Do at Pega:

• Design innovative new features that will shape the future of our products.
• Debug and maintain our existing codebase, ensuring it’s always in top form.
• Collaborate with a talented team to develop and document new features that adhere to our high coding standards.
• Unit test all new code to guarantee quality and performance, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Understand how our customers use the product and verify that it meets their needs flawlessly

Who You Are:

You’re a fourth-year student pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science and eager for an internship that offers hands-on, real-world experience with the full software development lifecycle in an Agile environment. You excel in Java and object-oriented programming, with a strong interest in the data landscape, including relational and NoSQL databases, data science, and analytics.

• Strong object-oriented design and development skills, with Java experience being a plus.
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodology.
• Passion for continuous learning and development.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for identifying creative solutions.
