Job Description

Data processing and analysis:

• Understand and identify the specific needs related to payments, by identifying the issues in this area.

• Design and analyze the databases necessary for payment modeling.

• Use mathematical algorithms such as machine learning, deep learning, and AI to model data and ensure its reliability.

• Participate in data analysis and contribute to the implementation of systems for the exploitation of payment-related data.

• Work to automate data collection and management processes for increased efficiency.

• Solution design:

• Leverage data to develop scenarios aimed at understanding and solving business challenges specific to payments, using mathematical, statistical and econometric approaches.

• Synthesize and communicate analysis results in a way that provides clear decision-making understanding that is easily usable by stakeholders, using appropriate visualization and communication techniques. Document the Department's daily processes and work to automate them for greater efficiency.

• Advice and cross-functional collaboration:

• Collaborate closely with business teams to ensure that the models developed meet user needs.

• Apply best practices in software development and ensure that the tools created can be deployed reliably.

• Work with the data management team to ensure comprehensive, historical, frequent and high-quality collection of data required for payment modeling.

Continuous improvement :

• Stay up to date on new technologies and tools aimed at improving data analysis in the payments field.

• Propose scenarios for the evolution of the data operating system related to payments.

AND IF IT WERE YOU ?

• Graduated from an engineering school
• Minimum one year's experience in a similar activity
• Expertise in statistics and applied mathematics: statistics, optimization, predictive analysis from different databases
• Good knowledge of the Power BI world and Data and Big Data professions
• Strong intellectual curiosity: interest in the banking sector, vision on strategic issues
• Ability to communicate your analyzes in particular by using visualization tools in a clear manner (Dashboard) with a decision orientation
• Customer posture, results orientation, pragmatism, autonomy and spirit of initiative
• Knowledge of computer programming: Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn), R, C++, SAS, EVIEWS, SPSS
• Knowledge of algorithms and database management: SQL
• Language proficiency: Arabic, French and technical English
