Job Description

Within the Chief Operating Office department of the Compliance department (CPLE/COO), you will join the CPLE Data Lab as a Data Scientist. In this capacity, you will participate in operational projects on the theme of financial security and thus contribute to the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism, or to compliance with sanctions and embargoes decided by local institutions, European and International.

Concretely, you will be required, under the supervision of your manager, to:

  • Understand the needs of the project you will have to carry out to translate them into “Data” issues and propose operational solutions
  • Identify and participate in the collection of the required data, in compliance with information security and personal data protection rules
  • Carry out Data Science work and in particular the development of machine learning/deep learning algorithms in compliance with model risk management
  • Summarize and communicate the results of the work and communicate regularly with the Business Lines to ensure that the solutions meet their needs

AND IF IT WERE YOU ?

  • You hold a Bac+4/5 in engineering school, or university or specialized Master's degree, Master's degree in Data Science
  • You have at least 3/5 years of experience in the field
  • You master Data Science methods (Machine Learning, Deep Learning, etc.) and programming languages ​​such as Python, PySpark, R, SQL, etc. that you have applied to real cases and large volumes of data
  • Understanding the issues related to Compliance, particularly the fight against money laundering and Sanctions and Embargoes filters, is a plus
  • You are curious, passionate, rigorous, with analytical and synthesis skills
  • You like taking on challenges and you have a sense of teamwork
