Team

Our Research Group pushes the limits of what AI can do for enterprises today. Within it, the Framework team builds, iterates and maintains a range of generative AI frameworks. Being robust and flexible, they bridge the gap between research innovation and ServiceNow products.

Our team artfully amalgamates research knowledge and practical engineering. It is aligned with both ServiceNow engineering and research.

Responsibilities

As a Framework team research developer, you will be in a key position to empower researchers to push the envelope and unlock new value. Working with research scientists and research developers from the Research Group and the Natural Language product technology team, you will:

• Grasp the needs of both fast-paced research and our product development.
• Choose suitable design patterns for a strong, adaptable and usable software framework.
• Develop, document and evolve the framework.
• Enable the framework to be adopted throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• You are experienced in software architecture and deeply understand its principles.
• You have a knack for quickly understanding environment constraints.
• You can develop scalable, reusable, production-ready software frameworks in Python.
• You know how to use LLMs in a commercial or research setting.
• You can understand the requirements of AI researchers.
• You are great at collaborating and communicating with people from diverse backgrounds.
• You are curious.
• You like virtual agents and/or have experience working on them (an asset);
• You can achieve high-throughput and high-performance computation (an asset);
• You know the ServiceNow platform or similar enterprise solutions (an asset);
• You have a portfolio showcasing work on AI frameworks or similar projects (an asset);
• You can work on ambitious projects and take initiative.
• You are ready to deal with uncertainty and project pivots.
• You love to get things done.
• You are persuasive in technical matters.
