Job Description

Responsible for various tasks from Terraform builds of cloud infrastructure, such as

AWS EC2 machines, EMR, H2O cluster/tool setup/install/management administration. Platform group (there are several members) develop code as infrastructure to facilitate repeatable/on demand continuous delivery of compute resources for the Data Cloud group. In addition, the platform group works/assists other groups needing the same.

Our end goal is to build a modern advanced analytics platform that serves our thousands of clients, in both banking and retail merchant areas. We are building a cutting-edge data environment with cloud, python, snowflake and machine learning technologies to serve those clients. This job will require working with data engineers, data architects, data scientists, data analysts/data stewards, and other internal data and technology groups.

Skills:

- Degree in Computer Science

- OS: Linux, Shell

- Devops Infrastructure: Terraform, Ansible, Artifcatory, docker, terraform, splunk, puppet,

jenkins, AWS, Azure, GCP, artifactory, ansible, kubernetes, github, jira, harness,

- Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP(plus)

- Infrastructure: Kubernetes Containers Understand scaling, ha, dr concepts

- Coding: Terraform, Python, Understanding/implementation on api, Java (nice to have), SQL

- Networking, general app admin, user/group admin

- Experience: Any data, parallel processing, database experience, data science, data engineering (all pluses)

- Configuration management (nice to have): Ansible Chef Puppet

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Good organization skills

- Experience with databases: e.g.SQL server, Oracle, Snowflake, mysql

- Internet data sources, Jason, XML, csv, etc.

- Banking and/or merchant domain experience a plus

- Able to communicate effectively with others.

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, New York or Washington.
