Job Description
Data Office is the central hub of VK data. We create data products, create a single entry point for all analytics in VK and automate various scenarios for working with data.
We are looking for an independent big data and machine learning specialist who will help us create new data products and develop existing ones.
You will have to:
- research data, engage in ad-hoc analytics, segmentation/clustering, anti-fraud, and so on;
- develop and test new features;
- build and optimize ML models;
- create metrics for assessing the quality of data products;
- develop production pipelines for data processing, including using ML.
It’s interesting with us because:
- we analyze data, put forward, develop and test hypotheses to improve product metrics;
- you will be able to find out how all VK products work, work with their data and implement new projects from scratch.
We expect that you:
- have a good mathematical background;
- know classical algorithms and data structures;
- confident in Python and SQL;
- understand ML algorithms and metrics, have worked with ML libraries;
- know Luigi or Airflow;
- worked with Hadoop (Spark, Hive, HDFS);
- confidently interact with the command line in Linux.
