We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Architect to join our Dublin practice. Our capability is comprised of passionate, flexible technologists who love to practice and hone their craft. Life as a Senior Architect:

A Senior Software Engineering Architect plays a fundamental role in shaping and delivering amazing software solutions to client challenges during Discovery and Delivery. You will partner with clients to understand the technical and functional challenges they are facing as well as develop implementation and delivery plans that take advantage of emerging technologies at scale. During client delivery you will collaborate with Solution Owners, Quality Engineers, and Experience Designers to ensure that world-class user experiences are understood, validation procedures are aligned, and automation components are delivered.

Within our capability you’ll be seeking to develop and grow your skills and experience, guide and mentor less experienced team members and advocating for progression of our capability on exciting frontiers such as Machine Learning and Generative AI.

We build full-stack solutions across a range of established and emerging technologies and techniques according to the needs of our clients. Specifically, you will:

• Co-lead discovery and delivery project phases alongside other capability leaders.
• The opportunity to technically lead the design, delivery and deployment of large scale, complex projects from end to end.
• Influencing the technical direction and technology choices as well as the overall architecture, systems design and software practices.
• Write high-quality application code using emerging technologies and frameworks, primarily targeting cloud-based ecosystems.
• Collaborate with other software development capabilities to iteratively design, develop, validate, and operate software at scale using agile techniques.
• Ensure your team is empowered to deliver high-quality application code using emerging technologies and frameworks typically targeting cloud-based ecosystems.
• Advance the craft by developing and sharing materials and thought leadership with other Builders.
• To promote our people first mentality, provide mentorship, career guidance, encourage wellbeing and being an advocate for diversity & Inclusion across our teams.
• Collaborate with other software development capabilities to iteratively design, develop, validate, and operate software at scale using agile techniques.
• Inspire your teams to bring a passion for high-quality product and services and for writing clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well.
• Using modern technology like AWS, serverless infrastructure and event driven design.
• Being a subject matter expert and thought leader on modern technology and domain-specific problems and leading the build of services from end to end.
• Cloud: AWS or Azure
• Deployment & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Lambda
• Any of these Languages & Frameworks: NodeJS, Java/Spring Boot, Python, Typescript, React
