What is the Opportunity?

  • Support and drive data management and technology projects/initiatives within the U.S. Data Strategy Group
  • Partner across functions and stakeholders to help support, drive, and execute target state plans

What will you do?

  • Drive adoption of various strategic technological solutions and manage transformation of related business processes.
  • Lead and participate in user acceptance testing on go live of key regulatory reports as part of U.S. Data Strategy initiative for strategic sourcing.
  • Liaise and collaborate extensively with regulatory reporting teams, technology teams, and key stakeholders on strategic sourcing initiatives and changes to current workflows.
  • Responsible for building the right products and is the voice of the Regulatory Report Owners to various teams.
  • Manage transformation of related business processes, including transformation of manual processes
  • Analyze Business and Function stakeholders’ control processes and documentation, identify control gaps, and propose enhancements to ensure alignment with enterprise & U.S. policies and standards.
  • Support and drive gap assessments against regulatory requirements, policies, standards, etc. across Risk and Finance to identify gaps and determine remediation plans.
  • Design and review metrics to track progress of various initiatives, including preparing scorecards and escalating execution risks to senior management.
  • Create and manage project tracker to ensure timely delivery and execution of program including escalation, action items, and remediation.
  • Communicate key messages and updates to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience specializing in Business, Finance, Math, Engineering or Liberal Arts.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a Financial Services company, preferably with a focus in Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting or Data Office.
  • Experience participating / leading on project teams, preferably regulatory reporting projects.
  • Outstanding written/verbal communication skills, and the ability to present complex concepts in a concise and understandable way to a variety of audiences, including the highest level of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills. Possessing strong emotional intelligence/maturity.
  • A keen sense of change, innovation, and agility concepts with an understanding of enterprise pragmatism
  • Navigate effectively through ambiguity of process and data structures.
  • Detailed oriented, driving data analytics to improve current state of business operations.
  • The ability to think strategically and execute tactically, be solution-focused, and solve problems.
  • Relationship management skills and the ability to engage wide range of stakeholders.
  • Capability to manage complex business requirements and to coordinate across multiple teams in a deadline-driven environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working on data/technology projects, preferably in Financial Services sector.
  • Hands on experience with SQL, Python, Business Objects, Tableau and advanced Excel functions.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $110,000 - $190,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
