We are seeking a talented and experienced Machine Learning Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, data analysis, and programming. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models and algorithms to extract valuable insights from large and complex datasets. The candidate should be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions and contribute to the advancement of our data science initiatives.

To join us, you should have:

4+ years of experience in working on industrial use cases in data science using Machine Learning for measurement, forecasting, simulation and optimization

Data Analysis and Preprocessing:

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to create robust datasets for model development.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues in the data.

Feature Engineering:

  • Extract and engineer relevant features from raw data to improve the performance of machine learning models.

Model Development:

  • Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models that solve specific business problems.
  • Select appropriate algorithms and techniques based on the nature of the data and the problem.

Model Training and Evaluation:

  • Train and fine-tune machine learning models using appropriate tools and frameworks.
  • Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and iterate on models to achieve desired outcomes.

Deployment and Integration:

  • Deploy machine learning models into production systems and ensure their seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Monitor and maintain deployed models, making necessary updates as data and business requirements change.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, domain experts, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Clearly communicate complex technical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Research and Innovation:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and data science, and apply innovative techniques to solve challenging problems.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's/master's/Ph.D. degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science).
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or similar languages commonly used in data science.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using libraries like pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib/Seaborn.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative coding practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
