Qualifications & Experience Required

Total Exp: 6-14yrs

• 3-5 years of BI Analytics development experience (with a primary focus on Microsoft), with minimum 2 years experience in team leading.
• 4+ years of Microsoft Power BI experience (Power BI, Power Pivot, Power Query, Power View).
• Strong experience of SQL, T-SQL, or similar database programming technologies
• Database design, database schema designing, database programming, data analysis
• Experience in creating dashboards, volume reports, operating summaries, and presentations and graphs.
• Expert in publishing reports to app.powerbi.com and setting up the necessary connection details and scheduling.
• Excellent knowledge connecting Microsoft Power BI Desktop to various data sources
• Experience in Custom Visuals and Groups Creation
• Experience in Managing Embed Codes is an added advantage
• Extensive experience in writing DAX formulae, data formatting on Power BI desktop
• Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set
• Ability to define a data model, create and customize simple visualizations, hierarchies and drill-down.
• Ability to create and deploy reports/dashboards on Power BI service portal
• SSRS-SQL Server Reporting Services experience highly preferred
• Connecting to data sources, importing data and redefining data for Business Intelligence
• Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
• Able to implement row level security on data and have an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
• Very good communication skills; must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with client teams, internal team members.
• Able to work independently to implement a solution with minimal guidance.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Ability to work with an international team and collaborate.
