Job Description

In this job, you will:

• Gramener is seeking a creative and self-motivated Technical Architect (Open Source and Cloud) who could lead and mentor developers in architecture, act as a conduit between onshore and off shore resources ensuring requirements are understood and communicated, software quality is high and deadlines are met with considerable exposure to multiple technologies and platforms.
• A successful candidate must have a passion for Opensource software, public cloud particularly Microsoft Azure and AWS, with a proven track record of delivering complex solutions on these platforms

To join us, you should have :

• Be Creating and designing Open source (python, SPA frameworks (django, tornado, flask, fastapi), SQL/NoSQL, etc) and scalable architectures with best practices
• Hands-on Full stack development experience with exposure of frontend technologies.
• Be Creating and designing Cloud architectures and upholding good architecture principles.
• Be Producing high quality documentation for consumption of clients and development teams
• Thorough understanding of SQL/NoSQL storage systems and has dealt with large volumes of data
• Be Capable of Transitioning traditionally hosted applications into Azure/AWS/GCP in a cost effective manner with a mix of IaaS and PaaS
• Have experience in designing OLAP systems
• Where applicable re-architecting parts of applications following best practices
• Being a thought leader in introducing DevOps mindset and practices within teams
• Be Helping teams build CI/CD pipelines
• Be Helping development teams solve complex problems in innovative ways
• Be able to Provide expert technical advice to development teams
• Be a passionate software engineer and possess hands-on development skills
• Helping to produce practices & patterns that can be applied across the business to accelerate Open source/cloud development
• Be Governing that solutions adhere to security best practices
• Have A firm commitment to keeping up-to-date with the latest Open source and cloud services/offerings and a desire to learn in an ever evolving landscape
• Provide solution architecture to client problems in proposals and implementation
• Identify opportunities for new business
• Demonstrate good commercial judgement
• Communicate and/or present concepts and ideas to clients
• Mentor other team members
• Work within timescales and costs set by the Project Manager
• Assist in encouraging technical best practice within the organization outside your project team
• Possess BE/BTECH/MCAMS equivalent degree from a university of UGC accredited.
• Desirable – Azure and AWS Certifications
• May need to travel to client sites as required
