We are seeking a diligent Visa Officer to join our Human Capital Operations team, ensuring compliance with UAE labour laws, immigration regulations, and government requirements.

Job Overview

As a Visa Officer at Presight, you will play a vital role in managing visa and immigration processes for our employees. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring timely visa renewals and new applications, and facilitating interactions with government departments. You will also stay up-to-date with labour laws and government regulations to ensure full compliance.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Visa and Immigration Compliance:

• Stay informed about Ministry of Labour and Immigration rules, UAE labour laws, and other relevant regulations.
• Apply immigration and visa-related knowledge to day-to-day Human Capital operations.
• Maintain and update employee records, including passports, labour contracts, labour cards, EID, and photos.
• Ensure proper storage and documentation of employee visa-related records, both in soft and hard copies.
• Prepare regular management and operational reports, including pension fund reports, Ministry of Labour and Visa status reports, and adhoc reports as needed.
• Assist employees with MOL, MOHRE, Visa, Immigration, Golden visa and government-related queries.
• Ensure the timely processing of visa renewals and new applications to avoid penalties.
• Stay knowledgeable about various government systems and departments, such as the Department of Economic Development, MOHRE, Chamber of Commerce, and municipalities.
• Schedule and coordinate medical tests and collect reports promptly.
• Manage and update pension fund processing for UAE and GCC nationals.
• Coordinate passport collection in adherence to deadlines. 

Government Relations:

• Conduct Khidmah's transactions with all Government Departments.
• Manage transactions related to work permits and residence visas for Khidmah staff.
• Collaborate with the Ministry of Labour, MOHRE, Naturalization, and Residence department in Abu Dhabi and other Emirates.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in visa and immigration compliance.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using computer applications and tech-savvy.
• Bilingual communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and teamworking skills.
• Effective stress and time management abilities.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE Labour law, and other regulatory and governmental entities, with a commitment to staying updated on legal and governmental updates.
