Job Description

At Weave, we're using AI to revolutionize the efficiency of biotech and pharma companies, starting with the regulatory process.

We're looking for a Director of Operations who build the structures necessary for successful scaling: People, Processes, and Tools.

People:

• Oversee Human Resources, including workforce planning, talent management, and employee relations.

• Lead recruiting efforts to attract top-tier talent.

• Manage leadership and team development.

• Manage onboarding and offboarding.

• Plan and organize company retreats to foster team cohesion.

Processes:

• Implement frameworks for organizational effectiveness.

• Develop and refine operational processes to create an organized and efficient work environment.

• Coordinate with external vendors, such as legal and marketing, to ensure seamless integration of services.

Tools:

• Responsible for systems ownership, including the maintenance and optimization of collaborative tools such as Notion and Google Drive, to ensure they remain well-organized and useful for team efficiency.

• You will also be the go-to for special initiatives that need a smart, entrepreneurial problem-solver to lead the charge.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant work experience.

• Previous experience at a high-growth technology company is ideal.

• An entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in a startup environment.

• Ability to manage complex projects and make them actionable (fog sculpting).

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive results through others.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, and occasionally chaotic, work environment.

• A strong bias for action and a high standard for work product.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.
