Job Description

We are seeking a Manager, MarTech and Customer Data Enablement will support the overall MarTech, AdTech and Customer Data vision globally. The Manager will be responsible for helping maximize marketing capabilities and technology across all marketing and ordering channels to drive the right message, to the right customer, at the right time. They will help our markets around the globe understand the value of our capabilities, as well as influence net new capabilities within our roadmap. This individual is customer centric and an advocate for personalized experiences across the Customer Experience organization.

This role will report directly to the Global Director, MarTech/AdTech and Customer Data Enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with cross-functional internal teams and business stakeholders (Digital Products + Experience, Global Technology, Operations, Loyalty and Engagement and more) and external vendors to concept and prioritize personalized programs and partnerships for our markets and customers
  • Support business case and requirement development for new MarTech capabilities and features
  • Assists with creation of leadership-level presentations to showcase results
  • Helps associate capabilities to business goals/outcomes
  • Develops market facing materials that translate capabilities into marketer actionable solutions that help maximize the value of our marketing technology investments
  • Partner with Market Activation Team and Market leads on current data activation platform usage and opportunities to support Personalization vision
  • Co-lead change management plans and training programs with digital product teams for the markets
  • Assists with creation of leadership-level presentations to showcase results
  • Helps associate capabilities to business goals/outcomes
  • Heavy partnership and stakeholder management with digital product & experience team on channel roadmaps to bring personalization to life
  • Support solutioning with product teams to translate business requirements
  • Track and summarize industry best practices for personalization

Qualifications:

Key Proficiencies include:

  • CRM Strategy and execution expertise
  • Understand end-to-end data and technical capabilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to simplify complex technical capabilities
  • Strong project management skills, ability to prioritize across teams and functions
  • Understanding of the MarTech and AdTech landscape and experience with relevant platforms (Decisioning, CEP, CDP, CMS, Campaign Management, analytics)
  • Understand end-to-end integrations and marketer capabilities
  • Proven ability to collaborate with technology partners to turn ideas into scalable solutions
  • Proven background of implementing machine learning and personalization concepts
  • Ability to think broadly, about how their work impacts the entire customer journey
  • Passion for digital, personalization and a customer-first mindset
  • Innovative mindset and willingness to test new concepts, contributing new ideas to team and stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence wide range of partners and stakeholders
  • Experience storytelling and influencing across complex, matrix driven organizations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • MS/MBA preferred
  • 3 - 5+ years of CRM, Digital Marketing, Marketing Technology or Data-Driven Marketing experience
  • Familiarity with communications/marketing/advertising principles, and/or marketing technology
  • Passionate about QSR and the McDonald’s business
  • Experience with Braze, mParticle, decisioning
  • Ability communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing business environment and priorities
  • Ability to grow as a subject matter expert
  • Ability to make decisions
  • Proven solutions-oriented mindset and innovative thinker
