Job Description

Our Business Insights team are looking for a data obsessed, food lover to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will provide data driven insights to empower key stakeholders when making strategic decisions. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver a holistic perspective on business insights to drive business performance. You will be hands on with a diverse range of data and partner with a variety of stakeholders across different departments including Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.

What are the main focus points of the role?

• Developing business and commercial insights using transactional data sets, to inform decision making by senior business stakeholders
• Leading stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with marketing and operational business units to inform evidence-based decision making
• Developing, maintaining and communicating sales forecasts for strategic planning and performance monitoring
• Be the key advisor to senior stakeholders with data-driven recommendations on market and business performance
• Developing, maintaining and producing ongoing reporting on business performance metrics
• Providing data, analysis and insights support to pricing and other business activities
• Working with IT and third-party vendors to get required data to support the business strategy
• Providing Subject Matter Expertise on data and analytics for business stakeholders

Qualifications

What skills do I need to be successful in the role?

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Data Analytics or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated experience of delivering business insights with commercial outcomes
• Consultative mindset to problem solving, able to understand customer needs and deliver solutions
• Demonstrated experience in analytics tools (e.g SQL, PowerBI, Python) to solve business problems
• Demonstrated experience developing and delivering reports
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead stakeholder engagements
• Strong scenario planning skills with future focused thinking
• Experience in producing sales forecasts is preferred
