Job Description

Within our Business Line Connectivity & Security we deliver secure, accurate UWB ranging technology in Automotive, Mobile and IoT.

In this systems architectural role, you will be leading machine learning activities covering the entire scope from data analysis, signal processing, model selection up to industrialization.

Your Job:

• Drive the technical aspects of concept, design, implementation and validation of machine learning models applied to MCUs and MPUs in the UWB domain.
• Translate customer requirements into ML system architecture and design specifications.
• Find creative solutions together with chip design teams either manually or with a ML approach scale these down to suit our designs to deliver best in class products.
• Perform reviews of design, methods and results to ensure specification compliancy.
• Lead a team of ML experts (5 FTE’s) to drive end to end solutions.
• We estimate that 15%-20% of your time would be spent on literature research, 40% on architectural design (direct with external customers and internal product management) and 40% would be hands-on design.

Your Profile:

• Master’s degree or PHD from a Technical University.
• At least 6 years of industry experience, either in the RF, Wireless Connectivty, NFC, UHF, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi domains.
• Proven track record in applying ML techniques on micro-controllers or embedded systems. Also experience of developing applications and ML products that have been industrialized at scale.
• Comprehensive understanding of model quantization and deployment on MPU or MCU.
• Comprehensive understanding of RF communications is a plus.
• Understanding of signal processing methodologies is a plus.
• Experience with ML applied to radar data is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills and communication skills and you pay attention to details.
