Job Description

The D&T Management Director will coordinate multiple teams of technology professionals and projects focusing on information systems activities, including design, development, and administration of applications or operation of voice, network, server, and desktop environments development and management of data architecture, Angular, Python and .Net code base applications, with a solid focus on AI/ML technologies, cybersecurity and cloud computing. The Director will provide leadership and direction to TCC D&T and business units - Engineering in partnership with the Vice President while designing and maintaining effective and efficient programs. This leader will develop strategies and roadmaps for business applications and for all business applications support while ensuring that operational compliance is well-managed and meets service-level standards.

What You'll Do

  • In partnership with the Product lead, you will define the scope, cost, and benefits of digital initiatives.
  • Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job subject area
  • Maintain professional contacts with other organizations, research institutions, service providers, and software or equipment manufacturers concerning support and lifecycle management.
  • Plan, implement, and control multiple digital & technology projects. Ensures that project plans are implemented within cost and time constraints. Reports project performance and status to upper management.
  • Work with the business and other technology partners to discuss and understand the implications of digital & technology initiatives for their department.
  • Partner on strategic direction, ensuring the successful implementation of technology projects and initiatives.
  • Guide the design and maintenance of data architecture, ensuring data integrity, security, and scalability.
  • Be responsible for the development and maintenance of Angular and Python-based applications, driving innovation and standard methodologies.
  • Collaborate with partners to understand business needs and align technology solutions to support organizational objectives.
  • Be responsible for and manage cloud-based technologies, improving efficiency and performance.
  • Leverage AI/ML technologies to improve processes, decision-making, and user experiences across various products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technological advancements, recommending improvements and innovations.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
  • 8-12 years of related experience and/or training
  • 5 years of validated ability at the management level.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents.
  • Capability to respond effectively to the most critical issues. A
  • Capacity to write reports, manuals, speeches, and articles using a distinctive style.
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management, and/or public groups.
  • The knack to empower and broker effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take the desired action.
  • Expert-level analytical and quantitative skills with demonstrable experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based environment.
  • Ability to draw upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Abil· Experience in implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies and analytics frameworks.
  • Strong expertise in data architecture, Angular, and Python development.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and infrastructure management.
  • Hands-on experience in AI/ML technologies and their practical applications.
