Position Overview - Data & Reporting Business Analyst

The IT Operations team is looking for a Data & Reporting Business Analyst to join our Data Management team. Are you passionate about working with internal business groups, developing relationships and understanding their reporting and data needs? Role Overview and Responsibilities:

This role within the IT Data Management team will report to the Sr. Director of IT Operations. The focus of this role is 100% on driving data needs of our internal customers. That is to provide end to end support for any and all data needs from our business stakeholders. Including but not limited to: requirements gathering, setting priorities, real-time problem solving, providing guidance and solution building, tracking programs and projects, and meeting deadlines and objectives. Partnering with each business unit and driving success through data.

Responsibilities include:

• Working knowledge of the full data lifecycle/journey: input/quality, business gaps, requirements gathering, outputs, reporting, and visualization
• Translate business needs into real world, measurable solutions and be the Voice of Data within the business
• Able to see overlaps of requests/gaps and provide cross-functional solutions that meet the needs of the business as a whole
• Setting Priorities and Expectations across many requests with advanced tracking of progress both to the IT Leadership and the Business Stakeholders
• Document Processes and Training for end users
• Have a clear view of metrics of success, model and implementation feasibility, and impact to the organization
• Synthesize analytical findings for consumption by the teams and senior executives
• Articulate analytical findings in clear and concise deliverables, including presentations, discussions, and visualizations.
• Lead with Self-Service and Automation where-ever possible, with a focus on simplify

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or similar discipline
• Knowledge of back-end database systems and database languages such as SQL
• Knowledge of PowerBI and visualizations
• Excellent communicator able to convey complex information in an understandable, compelling, and persuasive manner at all levels
• 3-5 years experience handling reporting/analytics business needs in a high growth fast paced environment (SaaS company preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience in leveraging reporting and analytics to solve business problems
• Understanding of industry trends and best practices within the Data and Reporting world
