What you’ll achieve

• Aggregate disparate data and perform data analysis to generate operational insights and support KPI metric reporting across a variety of functional areas
• Partner with teams to create a data-driven, decision-making culture

Drive the efficiency and productivity improvement within the engineering organization through metrics and data reporting.

What you will do: 

• Support the data analysis needs of the Engineering teams’ strategic and operational projects, these include
• Headcount data, analytics & reports
• Velocity, quality. security & SaaS ops metrics
• Build automated metrics dashboards for reporting and review of Org or Team level metrics such as velocity, quality, security & SaaS ops.
• Partner with teams to understand their data-driven objectives and define best practices to capture, organize, and maintain that data
• Review the metrics with the teams at a regular cadence and provide analysis & insights for improvement

What do you bring

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in engineering analytics in a technology or a high growth SaaS product development company.
• Expert level proficiency with metrics and data analysis & visualization using spreadsheets and/or analytics tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
• Strong knowledge in Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Thorough understanding of the SDLC
• Experience working closely with engineering leaders and other stakeholders to gather the data and analytics requirements.
• Outstanding organizational and time leadership skills, with strong attention to detail
• Excellent problem solving skills, with an ability to recognize opportunities and develop ways of addressing them
• Ability to influence and empower people across a broad variety of job functions through data, compassion and relationships
