About the team

Are you interested in building new computer vision and deep learning technologies to power immersive experiences that change how people shop for homes and rentals? The Rich Media Experiences (RMX) team is inventing the technology that will give people the feeling of being there from the convenience of their phones or PCs. Using cutting-edge technologies, our team works across product, research, engineering, and business to enable people to walk through a home. We believe this will become the future of home shopping!

The team is staffed with scientists, engineers, designers -- and an operations team that manages the outputs of machine learning and converting them into polished real estate media that agents and consumers use throughout their home shopping. This includes 360 tours, schematic floor plans, interactive floor plans, aerial overviews, and other insights about the home. Combined, we are paving the next chapter of home media experiences.

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with strong technical and operational expertise, who is comfortable with building new AI tools and models, workflow, and customer experience topics to help drive outstanding AI operations. You will lead the product work to develop annotation tooling for humans-in-the-loop (HITL) to verify and enhance our computer vision AI results, scaling our operations to serve hundreds of thousands of real estate agents and their home media needs. You will focus on building our next wave of tooling balancing speed to market for new innovations with operator experience, quality of our consumer-facing products, scalability, and cost efficiency.

  • Define big problem spaces and collaborate with others to determine solutions
  • Create a cross-functional roadmap, defining features and technical specifications for our AI tools and the workflow associated with them
  • Partner with internal teams to gather requirements, translate them into concrete plans, and partner with researchers, designers, business managers, and engineering teams to deliver on those plans
  • Work with other PMs on their new QA solution needs to be added to the portfolio
  • Iterate quickly, test new ideas, and analyze results
  • Exercise strong judgment to balance speed with a high-quality and scalable end-to-end operators
  • Define, articulate, and track key metrics and OKRs for the product lifecycle and steady-state operations

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. Remote employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $164,800.00 - $263,200.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

This is an emerging product area, and the team needs a strategic and forward-looking PM who has experience with building for scale.

  • 5+ years experience in product or program management in the software industry
  • Experience with operations tools. Knowledge of AI-based operator tools (humans-in-the-loop, or HITL) and workflow management are a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss operations, UX, and technical concepts and manage tradeoffs
  • Effective communicator (written and verbal). Able to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, agile and collaborative cross-team environment
  • Bachelors degree in a technical field (computer science, operations, IT preferred)
