Job Description

The Data Science team works on a broad range of subjects. We actively participate in the definition and development of our suite of products on fraud detection, anti-money laundering, and claim automation. We have a lot of technical and professional experience in data science, data engineering, coding, business understanding, and client interactions. Additionally, we also work on various data types such as structured data, free text, documents, and images.

Your role will be to lead a team of Data Scientists to further develop our US P&C Data Science organization, managing a scope of customers for our Claims Fraud Detection product in the US.

This is a hybrid role based in Sao Paulo Capital

What you will do

• You will be in charge of scaling solution deployment and maintenance, supervising a Data Science team.
• You will hire, train, and coach a team of Data Scientists to work on our Fraud Detection models
• You will be working closely with our clients to understand their business and organizational context, present results, discuss the performances of our models and ensure we exceed their expectations.
• You will be working with other Data Science managers to identify opportunities to scale our processes, better onboard and coach Data Scientists and serve our customers more efficiently.
• You will support our Sales and Value Engineering teams, and present demos of our products to prospects.

What you will bring

• Business fuent in Portuguese and English
• 2+ year experience as Manager of a Data Science / Analytics team, managing at least 5 direct reports
• 3+ years as an individual contributor in Data Science, Analytics or Software Engineering fields
• Outstanding communication capabilities
• Strong client-facing skills
• Team player, as you'll interact with many other teams: Data Science, Product Management, Software Engineering, Project Management, GTM, etc.
• Nice to have:
• Fluent in Spanish
• Prior experience in a SaaS company
• Prior experience in the Insurance industry
• Prior experience as a Data Scientist
