You can help us get there, we’re searching for skilled EV experts who are passionate and curious individuals to join our team to help the world electrify!

We are looking for candidates with experience developing data models, data flows, and AWS applications to improve broad scale telemetry monitoring. A successful candidate is proficient at manipulating and analyzing large datasets over multiple domains and skilled at using various machine learning and statistical techniques to build solutions realizing clear business values. You will help the data science team and work on commercial facing development projects, typically involving large, sophisticated data sets. Last but not the least, you should share the same passion for eliminating carbon emissions through innovative technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dive into underlying data, apply relevant Data Mining techniques and/or Machine Learning algorithms
  • Implement machine learning and statistics-based algorithms for prediction and optimization of charging loads
  • Collaborate with multi-functional collaborators from product, engineering, operations, design, consumer research, etc., to develop and deploy models at scale
  • Build predictive models of energy usage to support charging algorithms
  • Work hand in hand with software engineers to deploy your models into production
  • Craft and build business KPI dashboards and data visualizations to communicate performance/areas of
  • improvement to partners and supervise the progress of the business and high priority initiatives
  • Identify key business levers, establish cause & effect, perform analyses, and communicate key findings to various partners to facilitate data-driven decision-making
  • Collaborate with high-performance teams of in-house data scientists and ML experts
  • Communicate technical and statistical concepts clearly and concisely among audiences at many different levels

Job Requirements:

  • M.S. degree in a Stem Field or related area of study
  • 3+ years experience developing applications or data flows in an AWS environment, & machine learning
  • Strong Python and SQL skills (experience using dbt and BigQuery is a plus)
  • Experience working with cloud services (we use GCP)
  • An ability to lead and drive projects forward with strong communication and collaborator leadership skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, evolving, and high growth
