Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer in Test who is passionate about the successful deployment of commercial systems employing deep learning and computer vision. As we transmit video and other situational information in real-time from our clients’ devices to their command centers, we turn this data into actionable intelligence that helps to keep people safe.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that video solutions produce the highest quality, easiest to use products in the surveillance industry
• Actively participate in the design and development of an automation frameworks for online and offline evaluation of video systems
• Design and define performance metrics
• Automate the generation of easy to consume test reports
• Drive productivity and efficiency via automation and metrics
• Develop processes and metrics to ensure the team is operating efficiently and productively
• Eliminate the need for manual tests by writing automation tests.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience, from academic projects or from professionally writing production quality Python on Linux OS based systems
• Genuine curiosity about testing and improving advanced machine learning security surveillance systems
• Understanding of Object Oriented Programming
• Familiarity with networking concepts, DHCP, SSH, DNS, etc. 
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Math, Physics, or equivalent experience
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced Agile development environment
• Exposure or experience with Javascript, D3js, CICD, Google GTEST, Jenkins, Bamboo
• Understanding of statistical test methodologies
• Solid software design and development skills and ability to write production quality code
• Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills and experience
• Experience developing automation frameworks
• Experience developing test harnesses for unit testing and regression testing
• Experience with developing WebUIs and client / server for test automation.
• Experience with Azure and/or GIT Dev Ops
• Unreal Game Engine development familiarity
