Job Description

We are seeking a Data Scientist Developer to join our fast-paced scrum team. Our team designs, builds, tests, deploys, and maintains software tools that support Product Engineering and Business Partners. The technology stack we use is wide-ranging and includes AI, Automations, Chatbots and Cloud Computing. In addition to development tasks, DevOps team members are responsible for providing technical support to the end-users when requested. We are currently looking to expand our team’s skill set to include more experience in data science and machine learning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying relevant data sources for business needs
• Collecting structured and unstructured data
• Sourcing missing data
• Organizing data into usable formats
• Building predictive models
• Building machine learning algorithms
• Enhancing the data collection process
• Processing, cleansing & verifying data
• Analyzing data for trends and patterns and finding answers to specific questions
• Setting up data infrastructure
• Develop, implement and maintain databases
• Assess the quality of data and remove or clean data
• Generating information and insights from data sets and identifying trends and patterns
• Preparing reports for executive and project teams
• Create visualizations of data

Highly Preferred Skills Include:

• 2+ years of experience with Python
• 2+ years of experience in SQL Database
• Experiences with Azure Machine Learning Studio 
• Experience with Atlassian Software Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)

Candidate may reside anywhere in the US

Basic Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Data Science, computer Science, or related Engineering field and 3+ years of experience with machine learning, scripting and computer programming language
• OR Masters Degree in Data Science, computer Science, or related Engineering field and 0+ years of experience with machine learning, scripting and computer programming language
