Job Description

Genmab is focused on the creation and development of innovative and differentiated antibody products, with the aim of improving the lives of cancer patients.

The Data Science department, in collaboration with the Lead Development and Technology (LDT) department of Genmab is looking for an intern to work on deep learning-based analysis pipeline for high-throughput screening methods. Computer vision is here key to the definition of complex multivariate phenotypic patterns representing various mechanisms of action. The intern will play a critical role in the selection of the appropriate training conditions and the construction of a robust analysis pipeline, able to match the speed and complexity of high-throughput microscopy.

You will work with industry scientists, contribute to new drugs in development and will be able to learn about other exciting ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

Analyze microscopy-based screening data in lead discovery of new antibodies.

• Collect and QC data from internal and publicly available microscopy-based screens
• Develop a modular statistical pipeline to analyze screening results
• Report findings internally in presentations and reports

What we ask

• You are a Bachelor or Master student at your last year. Please be reminded that this position is specifically - and only - for student
• Interested in machine learning applications to pharmaceutical research
• Background in data science, computational biology, machine learning or bioinformatics
• Affinity for statistics and statistical modeling
• Understanding of molecular biology and oncology
• Experience working in python and Unix, preferably on the cloud
• Motivated by drug development and innovation in biotechnology
