Job Description

• Work with large-scale datasets and solve complex business and technical problems through analysis, modeling, and platform solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to run end-to-end experiments, including experiment design, and experiment analysis, as well as communicating experiment results to partner and leadership team for making business decisions.
• Partner with engineering and product team to build and deploy scalable experimentation platform solutions to support multiple products and studios.
• Conduct applied research and develop methodology in experimentation, causal inference, causal learning, statistical models, and machine learning to solve business problems and create user value.
• Explore opportunities broadly with an open mindset and leverage various data science methods flexibly, to identify high-impact opportunities, initiate project ideas, prototype solutions, and drive project completion.
• Contribute to data science best practices, processes, training, and sharing, to build data science culture and technical advances.

Requirements

• S., or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Math, Economics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or equivalent practical experience. Ph.D. with Strong publication record preferred;
• 3+ years of experience applying analytics, inference, experimentation, or machine learning methods in business scenarios preferred;
• Breadth and depth knowledge of data science methods and best practices, such as data analysis and visualization, experimentation, causal inference, supervised learning, unsupervised learning, time series, probabilities, and sampling methods;
• Experience programming in SQL, Python, R, or related language;
• Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc. preferred;
• Experience with building complex analytics/experimentation/machine learning platforms on large datasets preferred.
