Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with researchers to develop novel models, prototypes and systems. Responsible for the system/architecture design and development.
- Optimize systems' execution speed, memory occupation, and reliability to surpass the threshold for practical adoption and deployment.
- Design, optimize and maintain the system development process and standard.
Requirements:
- Holds a master or above degree in computer science or related fields. Has 2+ years of industrial software design and development experiences. Proficient in C++ and Python.
- Very familiar with data structures, computer architecture and major computer algorithms.
- Deeply understand the principles of software architure design. Has extensive experiences in designing and developing multi-threaded, multi-processed, and distributed systems.
- Has great experiences in software design and develop process (e.g., version control, unit test, code review, bug tracking). Proficient in using Git and related tools.
- Understand how to trade-off and optimize various metrics such as software execution speed, memory size, user experience, software development speed, and software maintainability.
- Having experiences in popular AI algorithms (e.g., EM and Viterbi) and models (e.g., graphical models, deep learning models), GPU programming, and AI tools and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch and Tensorflow) is a plus
