Your Role and Responsibilities

The Data Scientist role combines computer science, statistics, and mathematics. Data Scientists analyze, process, and model data, then interpret the results to create actionable plans for companies and other organizations. At Kyndryl, the role of the Data Scientist is essential to helping our organization in solving the world's toughest problems. Data Scientists solve business problems through data-based solutions. Building on a strong foundation of mathematics and statistics, they combine domains of expertise, consulting, methodology, and software engineering. This unique combination allows Data Scientists to understand complex business processes.

• Collect, explore, and prepare data.
• Formulate hypotheses, develop, test, and deploy data models.
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders.
• Provide thought leadership on data processes and technology, and how the implementation of these can improve the effectiveness and accuracy of data.
• Collaborate and co-create with both business and technical stakeholders a good understanding of Architectural Design Patterns and Solutioning.
• Learn and Lead using Design Thinking and principle for the application and services architecture/development.

The salary range starts at 2.400 EUR gross per month. The final salary offer reflects the set of skills and experience that selected candidates bring to the team.

Kyndryl Slovakia is dedicated to supporting Ukrainian nationals in search of employment in Slovakia. In this process, we utilize the simplified process of ensuring all requisite permits are in place as regulated by the Government of the Slovak Republic.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3+ years of experience in Data Science Projects.
• Experience in development and rollout of Functional / Technical aspects.
• Experience in leading the integrated planning, design, implementation, and support of the solutions.
• Knowledge of Process/Scope Management, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web Services, and Business Intelligence.
• Knowledge of Standardization, Consolidation, Data Quality Management, Mass data processing with the ability to provide solutions.
• Critical Thinking
• Being Able to Listen

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Prior experience in software development and testing
• Cloud platform infrastructure and technology experience (preferably Azure)
• Continuous Delivery experience (DevOps)
• Experience with Agile methodology, including in building large, scalable Business Applications
• API design experience
• Containerization experience

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education

• Master's Degree
