Your Role and Responsibilities

Kyndryl is looking for leaders who are passionate about helping some of the world’s biggest companies with their Digital Transformation Journeys. Have you been architecting solutions to guide clients on their data modelling, data modernization, and migration/conversion journey to cloud? Have you been providing technical consulting to clients by helping them evaluate today’s leading Data management and AI tools and technologies to identify the best fit for their needs?
We are seeking Data and AI Architects who have deep experience in areas of Data Management, Data warehousing, Data-lakes, Business Intelligence & Analytics. We are looking for leaders that can perform hands-on Data Architecture modernization, data migrations, and technical designs for our clients to help them achieve their data and AI transformations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Hands on experience with the latest Big data and Hadoop technologies
• Experience with architecting data modernization/migration solutions that fits client’s strategy
• Experience with architecture design frameworks, principles, and methodologies (high-level technical design, low-level technical design, and technical solution design integration)
• Client facing, success driven
• Strong & trusted relationships with clients
• Diligent and engaging communicator
• Works without supervision and strong collaboration
• Performs and balances tasks on multiple concurrent projects across multiple customers
• Exposed to demands of travel and irregular work hours

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with various teams to gather business and technical requirements
• Assess client's requirements, specifications/features to architect the proper Data and AI solution that best fits the client’s need
• Lead and implement Analytics solutions and Data Visualization
• Develop a point of view, capture, prioritize and analyze technical (functional and non-functional) requirements
• Prepare estimates for the architected solution based on the proposed data platform(s),
• Create the required artifacts (design document, diagrams, build book, etc.)
• Design and implement the infrastructure to support the client’s technical strategy
• Educate, mentor and coach teams in applying data architectural techniques
• Support company initiatives for offerings, contracts, technologies, and go-to-market

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Ecosystems (MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Hbase, Sqoop, Apache Nifi, Spark and Hadoop service components of HDP&CDH platform), Cloudera CDPs.
• Cloud Platforms based data and AI experience: providing AI and Data architecture solutions based on AWS, Azure or Google
• DevOps and continuous Integration tools such as Bamboo, JIRA/Green Hopper and Ant
• ETL/ELT technologies such as Spark based data pipelines, Matillion, AWS Glue, Informatica, etc.
• Database Technologies including Relational and NoSQL databases

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Bi-Lingual (English and French)
• Canadian Security L2 Cleared
• Red Hat OpenShift, RHEL, Ansible Fundamentals or equivalent
• Terraform and Python Fundamentals or equivalent
• IBM AIX, Linux, RHEL, UNIX Fundamentals or equivalent
• Oracle Database Management Fundamentals or equivalent
