Your Impact

  • Drive development of highly scalable ML-driven features on our next-generation ML/AIOps cyber-security platform as part of Cloud management
  • Collaborate with a team of machine learning engineers and data scientists and establishing credibility through quality technical execution
  • Drive innovation in all core product pillars of Predict, Plan and Secure
  • Work closely with leadership team on the ML features roadmap

Your Experience

  • Domain expertise and solid skills in computer science, applied math, statistics, and machine learning, alongwith quantitative data analysis of large volumes of observational data by rapidly prototyping new tools.
  • Practitioner experience in designing, developing and evaluating ML and Deep Learning algorithms.
  • Proficiency in mathematical foundations behind ML such as linear algebra, multivariate statistics, and optimization.
  • Have a strong working knowledge of ML algorithms including XGBoost, CatBoost, Kmeans, CNNs, LSTMs, attention, transformers, and GANs
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn)
  • Able to weigh several, often conflicting constraints, and make quick decisions in a dynamic and quickly-growing company.
  • Highly organized. With many people doing many things in a fast-paced company, strong organizational skills both for yourself and for the team is needed for success
  • Previous experience building and running high-scale geographically distributed always-on systems plus a good mix of Unix toolchain and systems programming experience. 
  • Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.

The Team

Drawing on the near real-time data collected through PAN-OS device telemetry, our industry-leading next generation insights product (Device Insights) gives large cybersecurity operators a force multiplier that provides visibility into the health of their next-generation-firewall (NGFW) devices. It enables early detection of issues at various levels of the stack via advanced time-series forecasting and anomaly detection using novel deep learning techniques. Our goal is to be able to prevent service-impacting issues in critical security infrastructure that operates 24/7/365 with zero false positives and zero false negatives.
