Job Description

We are currently searching for a Senior Systems Engineer with Data Analytics emphasis. The successful candidate will have a broad technical background with experience in systems engineering, software, electrical engineering or physics. The candidate must be capable of functioning in a multi-disciplinary product development and system integration team.

Position will be a hybrid role located in Burnsville, MN. A comprehensive relocation package is available.

Consideration to work remotely will be given to highly qualified candidates.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs system modeling, simulation, and analysis employing Matlab and supporting toolsets
• Develop and integrate advanced aerospace solutions incorporating multiple sensors and specialized data processors
• Support cross-functional product development using latest development principles, theories, methods, and techniques
• Perform system functional allocation, requirements development, and design synthesis
• Support verification, validation, and acceptance test process generation and execution
• Interact with internal and external customers through all phases of development

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) ) and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
• Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience OR
• In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
• Familiarity with Matlab and supporting toolkits
• Background in signal processing
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and neural networks
• Experience with data analytics and algorithm development in Python
• Proficiency in system architecture generation and performance trade offs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to video/image processing concepts
• Embedded programming experience
• Background with electrical engineering concepts
• Familiarity with Simulink
• User interface design and programming experience
• Experience with Jira/Jama, DOORS, or other tools for requirements management
• Familiarity with software and/or hardware development for regulated industries
• Able to work independently within a team structure

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
