The Opportunity

This is to support 5G NPI activities

Job Responsibilities:

• You will be part of a passionate team that is working on learning Marvell hardware products, existing software and other related software tools
• You will apply your creativity to define, develop and support system level testing for processor and board products.
• You will gain knowledge on our hardware and firmware platform
• Provide technical guidance and assistance to other product and test engineers
• Work with board and chip manufacturing teams to improve test processes and efficiency.
• Investigates anomalous test results to determine the root cause
• Adds new tests to improve coverage or address test escapes as required

Requirements:

Marvell is looking for highly motivated, creative System Software Engineer.

You will be part of a dynamic product development team working on most advanced technologies including Server, Networking, and Machine Learning Processors.

Working at Marvell is fun, exciting and lots of growth potential within the company. You will work closely with software, hardware, design and product engineering teams to develop system level test scripts for production.

Requirements / Education:

• 5 years of experience with scripting languages, preferably Perl and Python
• 3 years of experience with basic Linux system administration and configuration
• 3 years of experience with one or more revision control systems (Subversion, CVS, Git, etc)
• Understanding of low level CPU architecture
• Ability to debug test script, programs and devices under test
• Excellent programming skills - C and assembly (MIPS/ARM)
• Working experience with multi-core/multi-CPU environments
• Must have effective interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
• Excellent communication skills to interface internally and externally with other departments
• Has an inherent sense of urgency and accountability
• Grounded, detail-oriented
• Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Education: BS, Computer Science or Engineering. MS preferred
