About the Role:

As a Data Analytics Intern, you'll work with our Governance team to build reports and dashboards that help teams understand how they're performing. Your work will directly support engineering, product, and design teams by giving them clear visibility into their progress, identifying bottlenecks, and creating analytics that inform better decisions. You'll get experience with SQL, Jira, BI tools, and real business data while learning how analytics supports large-scale software development.

You Will:

  • Gain hands-on experience by writing SQL queries to extract data from diverse sources and transforming that information into impactful reports and visual dashboards.
  • Actively support the data lifecycle by assisting with the ingestion of new data streams to expand our reporting capabilities and building proof-of-concept prototypes to validate innovative analytics ideas.
  • Collaborate with:
  • Data Engineering & Visualization; using SQL to bridge the gap between raw data and actionable business insights through polished dashboards.
  • System Innovation: Helping the team scale by identifying new data needs and testing experimental analytics models.
  • Workflow Optimization: Enhancing team connectivity by configuring software integrations and creating clear, accessible technical guides.

You Have:

  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, with an expected graduation date in 2027 or 2028.
  • Data Foundations: A solid academic foundation of SQL and relational databases, including comfort with writing queries and an understanding of basic data modeling.
  • Technical Exposure: Hands-on experience with data visualization tools and a foundational knowledge of JavaScript or Python for basic scripting and automation.
  • Web & Development Basics: Familiarity with the core concepts of REST APIs (such as JSON and HTTP methods) and basic version control workflows using Git.
  • Analytical & Communication Mindset: The ability to look at raw data to find meaningful patterns and explain those technical findings clearly to non-technical teammates.
  • Growth Interest: A genuine curiosity about how modern software teams work and an interest in learning project management methodologies.
