About the Role:

As a Senior Research Analyst - Natural Gas & Power Generation, you will be responsible for natural gas & power research for the North American markets. Your role will provide important support to CMA’s key service leads. You will report directly to the VP of Energy Markets within CMA.

You Will:

• Collect and organize natural gas & power generation related statistics and current events

• Understand the fundamental drivers of the North American gas markets, including basin developments and regional infrastructure additions

• Lead the preparation of models, data sets, and analytics for activities covering energy markets

• Lead the design and preparation of content delivery tools that enhance client experience

• Support preparation of content, analytical tools, and processes

• Be a primary contact for systems development for upcoming services

• Support preparation of content that positions the service with upstream companies, petrochemical producers, and downstream consumers

• Support and leverage intra-company expertise and content to support deliverables

You Have:

• 5+ years’ relevant experience in data analysis and data modeling

• Knowledge of the energy value chain and the related market dynamics

• Experience modeling refinery unit operation(preferred)

• Advanced skills in Python, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and the manipulation of analytical tools such as databases, and process documentation & business intelligence applications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, chemical engineering (preferred), chemistry (preferred), or other relevant discipline
