Advanced process control (APC) engineers design and improve industrial or manufacturing processes. APC engineers use sophisticated computer technology and their own analytical skills to make these integrated processes more effective and efficient. The APC engineer may evaluate a manufacturing process and adjust it in a variety of ways, including optimizing industrial processes for increased productivity, while ensuring that products meet precise specifications. APC engineers study every input, output and accompanying process in the entire manufacturing system, looking for ways to improve it. They use sophisticated modelling software to identify and test changes to the process. APC engineer will work with Process Engineer, Process Integration Engineer, IT and Metrology teams to develop state-of-the-art control algorithms that leverage big data and machine learning approaches to resolve leading technology process challenges.
You will be responsible for solution development of advanced process controls in leading-edge semiconductor manufacturing, including demand analysis/ algorithm design/ system development/ data analysis and efficiency diagnosis.
